Sony Ericsson SatioCome October the Satio will be available on Vodafone, followed by the Xperia in November.

Rumors have been circulating for some time now about the possible release dates of some of the most sought after mobile phones, with many speculating that many will be arriving in time for the holiday season; and it seems that they were accurate, at least regarding the Xperia X2 and the Satio. While no official announcement has been made yet, Vodafone is set to include both handsets on its network.

Sony Ercisson’s Xperia X2 mobile phone has been of particular interest for many people for months now, even though it was only recently that the company made an official announcement to confirm its existence. It is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, and is planned to show up on Vodafone’s network in November this year, already appearing on the carrier’s website.

Initially, the Xperia X2 was expected to arrive in November, so that is nothing new – however it is only now that we know which network we will be seeing itXPERIA2_03 on. Prior to the Xperia X2, Vodafone will be launching another Sony Ericsson mobile phone, the Satio, which will be the first handset on the network to have a whopping 12 mega pixel camera, and is expected to appear in October.

October will also see four other new mobiles land on Vodafone, including the highly anticipated, Android powered HTC Tattoo, the LG GM750 running Windows Mobile OS, the Nokia N97 and the Nokia E72, which will be running under the Symbian operating system.

We will likely hear more about price tags and exact dates as the launch approaches, so check back for details in the coming weeks.
