The LG Layla Appearing in the Market Soon as the LG GM730

LG GM730Korean mobile phone maverick LG Electronics is finally releasing the highly anticipated Windows-run LG GM730.  It sports a slim 109.8 x 56.5 x 11.9 mm dimension on a stylishly classy touchscreen body that would qualify it as a fashion phone.  But LG is targeting this on the business market with significant demand for the most advanced and sophisticated features to keep them in touch with the office while standing out in the crowd with its slim fashionable body.

Advanced Features

The LG GM730 is basically a quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and a tri-band UMTS with support for high speed data connectivity 3G/HSDPA/HSUPA that enables no-wait surfing, messaging and downloading over the internet.  Its Windows Mobile 6.1 upgradeable to the more powerful Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro allows true multi-tasking and desktop-like internet performance.

Its large 3“ QVGA TFT resistive touchscreen display gets an impressive look and feel with LG’s S-Class UI that enables a high level of personalization and gives you fast one-touch navigational access to your favourite apps while browsing, texting, calling or getting help on the road with its built-in GPS/A-GPS feature.

Providing excellent imaging and entertainment experience on the road, the LG GM730 used a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics.  It supports VGA recording with near-film quality 24 fps.  There’s a secondary VGA camera in front for 3G video calls.
