Smarter and More Affordable – the new HTC Touch 2

HTC Touch2Finally, we can put all the online rumours and speculation aside.  The much awaited HTC Mega gets released on October 6 as the HTC Touch 2.  Is it anywhere near the Mega?  It is, except that we are still awaiting word about its street price.  But all the technical data and looks leaked earlier suggest that we’ll be getting what we’ve speculated on.  It’s a slim and compact touchscreen smartphone with a relatively smallish but imposing 2.8″ QVGA touchscreen sporting a 2D TouchFLO user interface.  What makes it stand out is that this is the first HTC handset to run the most powerful Windows OS to date – the Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro, well ahead of the flagship Touch Pro2.
