Camera Phones Invade Smart Phone Industry

We all love our smart phones –these 3G/WiFi capable touch screen devices has allowed society to keep in touch with the latest news and updates through the internet, social networking and with media. Of course, one of the most influential features of the technology is the ability to share one’s own content with the world –often bringing the latest and most insightful views of today’s current events as they happen.

This is why camera phones have become a significant part of modern media. The ability to shoot videos and instantly upload the content for all to see is quite important, and this is why the number of smart phone users who are quite keen on getting the best camera phones available. With this season’s latest lineup of new devices, there are three camera phones hat truly stand out.

The first is the newly announced Panasonic Lumix handset that features a 3.3 inch WVGA TFT touch screen display. The phone supports HD video recording and of course, HD playback as well. But the biggest feature here is the 13.2 mega pixel camera. The device is going to be making a big reveal this coming October 5 as announced on the website –so far, we have yet to confirm is this will be the official product launch date.

Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has also recently come up with a super camera phone of their own in the form of the much delayed Nokia N8 Symbian^3 device. The device was supposed to come out earlier this year, but delays have pushed the launch back until yesterday.

Lastly, Altek has confirmed that they are indeed releasing the Leo, a powerful Android smart phone with a 14 mega pixel snapper. At this point, the Leo is currently almost on top of the camera phone specs list.
