LG is taking a hint for the moderate success of the LG Cookie series and is releasing a new wave of low end mobile phones: the Winks. While the name may sound quite odd (and it really is), the phones are pretty much what one would expect from the Korean phone maker.
Three new phones is not that big a number when it comes to low to mid range devices –particularly of the 2G class. Though one phone does support 3G access and yes, all three mobile phones make use of touch screen user interfaces.
First off, the handsets look like your typical touch screen devices, with a screen occupying the entirety of the front with only a few buttons available. Sadly, among the three types, none of which appears to be packing a slide out QWERTY keyboard –which would have been a pretty good idea since some folks would have certainly have liked that. Anyway, all the devices seems to be designed a little on the small scale so expect the touch screen displays to only be about 2 to 3 inches in size.
At this point, only the names of the three devices (and a rough estimation of what they look like have been revealed). Aside from that, LG has been uncharacteristically mum about the full details on the mobile phones.

The T300 Wink and T310 Wink Style are both basic GSM mobile phones. While they are of the touch screen variety (as opposed to the more common candy bar type), it is pretty much safe to assume that these two devices do not have much in the way of features.
As for the T320 Wink 3G, the device seems to be the only promising handset in the group. Also, many are hoping that this handset will be making use of LG’s S-Class user interface.
