The internet is abuzz with a recently leaked 2010 roadmap of new smart phones that are allegedly, going to launch in the UK. The big news tip brings to light several smart phones that have been rumored about in the recent days as well as a few new entries that might just pique a smart phone user’s interest.
True to form, a nice chunk of the leaked information relates directly to HTC devices. It was only last year when several HTC devices had been leaked in a roadmap (which included the HTC Desire and the HTC Legend) and from the looks of it, these documents are the best place to seek out upcoming handsets from the Taiwan based phone maker.
The big attention grabber is none other than the HTC Vision. Before the roadmap leak, the Vision has already been leaked in several images showcasing the smart phone’s sleek style and more importantly, the slide out QWERTY keyboard.
Being the first Android smart phone from HTC that sports a QWERTY keyboard is a big plus. Add in the fact that the device is said to be running on a 1.5 GHz processor and we have an Android phone worth losing sleep for.
The HTC Gold is apparently a renaming of the HTC Mondrian. The device is said to be first Windows Phone 7 handset from the phone maker. A third HTC device, the HTC Ace is also part of the leaked roadmap, but so far, no details of the handset have come up.
The Symbian foundation’s Symbian^3 operating system will be making its debut with the Nokia N8. As impressive looking as the new smart phone is, one cannot help but see that Finnish phone maker Nokia has all of its sights trained on the upcoming MeeGo based N9 smart phone.
