Leak Reveals Upcoming HTC Smart Phones

htc_logoThis next half of 2010 is going to see plenty of new handsets. And while we already have a great list of confirmed smart phones, a recent leak of a retail roadmap has revealed several other devices that have yet to be fully announced by their manufacturers. Here is a sneak peek at the upcoming handsets.

First up are three smart phones from Taiwanese phone maker HTC. While this is not the first time that we have heard of the HTC Vision, the mention of this handset in the newly leaked roadmap adds credibility to the previously rumored details about the handset. The Vision has already been shown off in a few images that featured the device’s touch screen keyboard.

That one detail alone was enough to stir up plenty of interest from the Android community. HTC has been making some of the best Android devices. However, they have yet to release one that actually comes with a physical QWERTY keyboard. And if that was not enough, it has been rumored that the HTC Vision will come with a 1.5 GHz CPU.

The other HTC handset is the Gold. While the name may seem unfamiliar to many people, this device is actually the HTC Mondrian. And that is a name HTC-Wildfire-front-back-sidethat should strike a bell especially for those who are looking forward to the Windows Phone 7 operating OS.

The Gold is going to be HTC’s first WP7 smart phone and it brings together an impressive set of (rumored) features that range from a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm CPU and a 4 inch capacitive touch screen display.

The last handset from HTC that has been leaked is the HTC Ace. So far, details on this new phone are scarce, though it has been stated previously that the Ace is going to be another Google Android handset. HTC have already proven they are more than capable of making high quality Android handsets, having developed the excellent HTC Desire and Wildfire models as well as Google’s own Nexus One.
