PayPal users are going to enjoy the new iPhone app which will bring their internet payment solution to the smart phone. This is actually version 2.0 for the PayPal app and it comes with a few extra features aside from being able to buy or receive funds online.
The new app’s biggest added feature is the “Bump”. This will allow users of the app to bump their iPhones in order to exchange funds. The app would naturally require users to be online in order to make the fund exchange but it certainly makes for a great way to handle transactions without having to whip out your wallet.
Speaking of extras, there are some added features that are not entirely related to actually using your PayPal account. The first is custom reminders for bill payments. This is a great way to keep tabs on bills and due dates as long as you are able to input the info into the phone. The second is a bill splitter function which will teach you how to split up the dinner bill and even how much the tip should be.
For those unfamiliar with PayPal, this online service is used for handling fund transfers online. Users will sign up with their credit cards on PayPal, and would use the service to purchase items online. This process eliminates the need to needlessly use one’s credit card account on sites that are dubious. PayPal has very strict policies regarding fund transfers and it is easy to file a complaint and get a refund if a store or seller decides to rip you off. PayPal is considered to be safer by most people and using it is simply a matter of signing into your email account in order to approve the invoice.
