This should be considered a daily leakage. With more and more information of the SE HD Symbian Kurara being put out every week, you would assume that there’s a daily schedule for it by now. Anyway, there is more information (and even more speculation) regarding the new SE Kurara that has been leaked.
At this point, a lot of people already know that this little Symbian is getting the full high end treatment from Sony Ericsson.
First it started with the announcement that the phone will be using an 8 mega pixel camera (not quite the 12 mega pixels of the Club but hey, it is good), just like the one being used by the XPERIA X10. Taking leg up on the X10, this phone not only sports the 8 MP camera, it also features a staggering 720fps video shooting capability. This little info got out when the device’s back cover got an additional superficial update; HD is now etched on the back of the Kurara.
Not too long ago, a series of high resolution images and a video that were supposedly shot with a production model of the Kurara has been released. The images were okay, but for the 8 mega pixel camera, the quality lacked the expected sharpness. Even worse was the video, which lived up to the common problem of video shot with SE phones.
Even nicer are the speculations that this little phone will now be getting an Arm Cortex A8, yes, that highly versatile processor that theoretically has the ability to reach speeds of up to 1GHz is going to be at the core of the Kurara.
Fast processor, high spec camera, and a pretty nice OS to boot (Symbian just got Spotify support, putting it on par with the Android and iPhone for Music streaming), the Kurara is shaping up quite nicely.
The Kurara is officially the predecessor of the Satio (also an SE symbian phone) and is rumored to be getting a 2010 launch date.
