HTC HD2 Available Now On O2

HTC HD2Mobile phone network O2 has just become the latest carrier to add the HTC HD2 handset to their line up, which we will start to see in stores as of this morning.

Although still very new, the HTC HD2 is already gaining a lot of popularity with both young and old mobile users alike. The device runs under the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and is currently one of the most powerful mobile phones on shelves; it boasts a mighty 1 GHz processor and is also the first phone running under the Windows Mobile OS to make use of a capacitive display.

The HTC HD2 can be yours for free on the O2 Pay Monthly contract, a deal that more or less lines up with the offers from competitors T Mobile and Vodafone who both announced earlier this month that they had also decided to stock the device.

The General Manager of Devices for O2 in the United Kingdom, Steve Alder, stated; “We are proud to be the home of smartphones and the HTC HD2 adds a new dimension to the range of devices we offer to our customers.”

We’re inclined to agree – the HTC HD2 is a highly sought after new handset, and rightly so. Having a choice between three different carriers (O2, Vodafone and T Mobile UK) will allow consumers more choices, and in all likelihood better value overall.

The HTC HD2 mobile phone has plenty to offer besides running under the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, which despite some flaws is gaining in popularity – the handset also has GPS, an FM radio and what we consider the one vital feature in all mobile devices these days; Wi-Fi.
