The Samsung Omni HD i8910 is expected to be an upgraded version of the Samsung Omnia i900 which was released last year and which was a hit in the smartphone market. The Omnia Hd is a Symbian S60 phone. The operating system of the phone is different from that of the original Omnia.

The Samsung i7410 is a smart phone that has a built-in projector and is capable of showing an image that is up to 50 inches in size, diagonally. The phone has a 3.2" 240 x 400 pixel touch screem. There is a 5 megapixel camera measuring 112 x 57 x 17mm. It is a 3G handset that has video calling. However no mention has been made of WiFi support in the mobile. The phone is expected to be made available on Samsung i7410 on Vodafone.
The phone is also equipped with a FM radio, comprehensive media player, microSD expandable memory and a large 1440 mAh battery. The phone uses the TouchWiz interface. However as it runs on Symbian or Windows we are still unaware of the type of smartphone that it is. The company has not specified any date of release of the phone into the market but is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2009. The price too has not been given out by the company. The device promises to be an interesting blend of innovation and functionality and I am eagerly waiting to lay my hands on one of the most interesting contract mobile phones.
